Malimbus

Malimbus, the Society's journal, is biannual and bilingual, a unique feature in Africa. It publishes Papers, Short Notes, Reviews, News and Letters and illustrative material covering the field of West African ornithology. Contributions are accepted in English or French. They should be submitted to the Managing Editor, who should also be consulted for editorial questions.

How to obtain issues of Malimbus and Bull NOS

Current year: by subscription
Back numbers: no original printed copies are available except of some very recent issues. However, a pdf of any complete issue of Malimbus or of Bull. Nigerian Orn. Soc. can be supplied at a cost of one half of the current year’s subscription. Please send requests to the Treasurer.

 

 


Bulletin of the Nigerian Ornithologists' Society 

The Bull NOS was the precursor of Malimbus and was published from 1964 to 1978.  Some information about the Bull. NOS is given on the History page.

This bilingual site is intended to complement Malimbus. Development in the immediate future will concentrate on updating existing features:
